Professional Experience:
- Dr. Sneha Rathi is an internationally recognized Ayurvedic Skin Specialist from Nagpur with more than 20 years of clinical experience in the treatment of vitiligo and chronic skin disorders through Ayurveda. She is widely known for her dedicated work in Ayurvedic dermatology, especially in the management of vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema, fungal infections, acne, and other chronic skin conditions. With a patient-centric and research-based approach, she has helped thousands of patients achieve significant improvement through individualized Ayurvedic treatment protocols.
- Dr. Sneha Rathi has successfully guided and treated patients not only across India but also from countries such as the USA, UK, UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, South Africa, and many others. Apart from clinical practice, she has been actively involved in creating awareness about vitiligo and skin health through educational seminars, workshops, and public health initiatives.
- In association with Dainik Bhaskar, she conducted several Vitiligo Awareness Workshops in Nagpur, Chhindwara, and Gondia to spread awareness regarding skin diseases and Ayurvedic management. In 2014, she organized a Vitiligo Awareness Camp in Nagpur to educate and support patients suffering from vitiligo. In 2015, she was invited by an NGO in Mumbai to deliver a seminar on Vitiligo Awareness and Ayurvedic Skin Care.
- Her article on skin diseases was featured in Sakal Newspaper on Women’s Day 2015, highlighting her contribution to Ayurvedic dermatology and public awareness. She also presented a research paper on Vitiligo at the International Ayurveda Conference held in Pune in 2018. Her work and achievements were further recognized when her interview was published in Maheshwari Times on Women’s Day 2018.
Awards & Recognition
Dr. Sneha Rathi has received several prestigious awards and recognitions for her remarkable contribution to Ayurvedic healthcare and skin treatment. She was honored with the Dhanwantari Samman Award (2019) by the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) for her outstanding contribution to Ayurvedic healthcare. In the same year, she received the Ayur Woman Award (2019) and was recognized among 12 distinguished women doctors selected from across India for excellence in Ayurveda.
In 2020, she was honored as the Guest of Honour by Mohammad Rafi Manch, Amritsar. She later received the Icon of Vidarbha Award (2023) for excellence and dedicated service in the field of Ayurveda. In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Lokmat Ayushree Award for her outstanding contribution in Ayurvedic skin treatment.
On the occasion of Women’s Day 2025, she was honored by Maheshwari Mahila Sanghatthan for her dedication and contribution in the field of Ayurvedic skin care and vitiligo treatment. She was also honored with the title of Best Skin Specialist in Ayurveda (2026) on Women’s Day for her exceptional work in Ayurvedic dermatology and patient care.

Gurumaa Ayurvedic Skin Clinic (GASC) began in 2000, focusing on general skin diseases. Due to Dr. Sneha’s dedication to fighting Vitiligo, the clinic became an exclusive center for Vitiligo treatment in 2004.
Since then, GASC has consistently improved its success rate through dedicated research and innovative treatment approaches.
At GASC, we prioritize a caring and personalized approach to treating Vitiligo. Our goal is to address both the root cause and symptoms of the condition, ensuring a holistic cure.
Many Vitiligo patients initially consult their family doctors, who refer them to dermatologists. Since modern medicine lacks a root-cause treatment for Vitiligo, most doctors prescribe topical creams and steroids. These may provide temporary relief but often lead to relapses with more patches appearing. As a result, patients search for treatments across different medical disciplines, leading to confusion and misinformation.
At this stage, many patients fall prey to false claims from non-experts, worsening their condition.
At GASC, we provide clear and honest guidance about the curability of Vitiligo. We ensure that once a patient is cured, the condition does not recur, provided they follow the recommended regimen.
